Say hello, please, to the star of our show: Myotis lucifugus or the common Little Brown Bat.  People often ask me why I've chosen the Little Brown Bat as my domain name.  Well, I was sitting around one evening trying to come up with a good name, one that would be interesting and easy-to-remember.  It had to be original, catchy and fun.  And equally important, it had to terrify criminals.  After all, criminals are a superstitious, cowardly lot, and the name I chose had to strike fear in the hearts of...uh...no wait, that's how Batman got his name.  Oh yes, now I remember: I love bats. :-)
